28th IIS forum "Earth observation, disaster monitoring and risk assessment from space"

新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大防止のため，本年度の生研フォーラムは中止とさせていただきます．
参加を予定されていた皆様におかれましては，ご迷惑をおかけいたしまして，大変申し訳ありません．

　昨年に引き続き「宇宙からの地球環境・災害のモニタリングとリスク評価」をテーマとし，従来通り，学会の枠に囚われることなく．幅広く異分野の研究交流の場を提供しています．学生，第一線の研究者，企業，行政の方など，どうぞ今年も奮ってご参加下さい．
　分野は，生態系，水文，モデリング，災害工学，リモートセンシング等における情報収集技術を取り上げるとともに，地理情報システムによる環境，森林，災害リスクの評価など，広域情報の利用を対象とします．実務活動や，研究アイデア，プロジェクト紹介なども歓迎です．
　本フォーラムでも国内の留学生，外国人研究者の参加が増加したことから，少なくとも発表資料は英語で作成することをお願いしたいと思っております．また，2日目には，Google Earth Engineと機械学習を用いた衛星画像処理トレーニングを実施いたします．
　つきましては，皆様方からの講演の募集を行いますので，ぜひお申し込み頂きますようご案内申し上げます．参加のご予定，フォーラムでの講演発表のご予定を下記Webサイトよりお申し込み下さい．

　28th IIS forum is titled on Earth observation, disaster monitoring and risk assessment from space. This forum will provide a unique opprtunity from varietiy of researchers, enterprises and goverment officers to exchange research and business ideas to launch up social innovation approaches.
　Expected application ranges from terrestrial ecosystem, hydrology, modeling, disaster engineering, remote sensing as well as environment, agriculture and forestry, disaster risk assessment by GIS technologies. Research project introduction, innovative ideas for integrated research and real implementation at the goverment jobs are really appreciated.
　Since we have many foreign students and reserchers, we would like to request all participants to prepare their presentation in English. Remote sensing image processing on-the-job training using Google Earth Engine and machine learning are scheduled on 2nd of the symposium.
　Your active participation to apply for a paper submission is highly appreciated. Observers are also warmly welcomed.

口頭発表について \| Oral presentation	発表時間12分，質疑3分，計15分です．Windows 10のPCを用意いたしますが，ご自分のPCをお使いいただくこともできます．発表資料は英語で作成して下さい．発表は日本語でも英語でも大丈夫です． Presentation time consists of 12 mins talk and 3 mins Q&A. Windows 10 is available as well as your laptop. Prepare your presentation material in English. You can talk either in English or Japanese.

ポスター発表について \| Poster presentation	ポスターのフォーマットは特に指定いたしませんが，掲示できるポスターの大きさは，最大A0縦サイズです．発表資料は英語で作成して下さい．発表は日本語でも英語でも大丈夫です． No specific format. Maximum allowance is A0 portrait size. Prepare your presentation material in English. You can talk either in English or Japanese.

懇親会会費 \| Icebreaker party	オーガニックレストランアーペ (予定)(講演会場の1階)．お1人1,000円，当日の申し込みで大丈夫です．ハラルフードあり． ape cucina naturale by ciaobella (1st floor, building A). 1,000JPY/person, onsite payment by cash. Halal foods available.

トレーニングについて \| Training session	2日目に，Google Earth Engineと機械学習を用いた衛星画像処理トレーニングを実施いたします．無線LANに接続可能なWindows PC またはMacOSX PCをお持ちください．会場では無線LANが無料で利用可能です． Remote sensing image processing on-the-job training using Google Earth Engine and machine learning are scheduled on 2nd day of the symposium. Please carry Windows or MacOSX PC with WiFi. Free WiFi is available at the venue.
